CASTLE FREAK: A Remote Residency for Generative Digital Composition

Inside the Castle, November 2025 (publication: November 2026)

Selected for Inside the Castle’s inaugural CASTLE FREAK remote residency program, a competitive annual residency focused on innovative, generative literature and computational composition methods. The residency involves creating a 100,000-word generative work over five days using systematic or algorithmic processes, challenging traditional notions of authorship and exploring the intersection of human intuition and machine logic.

The resulting book, Francosim, will be published by Inside the Castle as part of their ongoing exploration of experimental, process-driven literature that “can only be books.”
